CARE
Help for those who attend Spring Hills
Blessed be the God and Father of out Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We all need help from time to time. Whether you’re hurting from the loss of a loved one, experiencing a difficult time in your marriage or struggling financially, we want to help. We offer assistance both for those who don’t attend Spring Hills and for those who do.
We offer help in three ways:
1. Financial (if funds are available)
2. Physical (We can help with minor car and home repairs.)
3. Spiritual (We can offer biblical support and guidance.)
Deacon’s Fund
If you are a regular attender (attending 6 months or more) or a member of Spring Hills we want to help with your need. For regular attenders and members of Spring Hills we utilize the Deacon’s Fund. The Deacon’s Fund is money that is set aside for the purpose of assisting the physical and financial needs of those who attend Spring Hills. The Deacon’s Fund is supported through the general fund as budgeted by the Session (Elders) and finance committee. Additional gifts may come from special offerings or designated gifts made to the Deacon’s Fund.
How do I request assistance?
To request assistance from the Deacon’s Fund please contact your Deacon or Elder. If you don’t know who your Deacon or Elder is please contact the church office office@springhillspca.org to find out. All inquires of assistance will be kept confidential. Please know that we will do our best to help you, but we may not be able to meet all of your financial needs. After you request assistance, a Deacon and a Elder will meet with you to discuss your needs and to pray for you. The Deacon and Elder will help you evaluate your situation before assistance is given.
